Rivers of blood!

While campaigning in Ohio this past weekend, Trump told his crowd, “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath. That’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.”

President Biden responded, “If I lose, there will be rivers of blood, and all will hear the lamentations of their women.”

It’s going to be a rough election, folks.

The Trump team now claims that Trump was referring to a figurative bloodbath in the auto industry.  

And I made up Biden’s quote.

But it’s going to be a rough election. And Midwest Values PAC is investing in key battleground states and key races up and down the ballot.

Please help so that we might hear the lamentations of their women and their men when we take the House, hold the Senate, and the White House!

P.S. As we always do, MVP will be investing in UNITE HERE’s ground game in battleground states. UNITE HERE is the hospitality workers’ union. Last cycle their members knocked on doors in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia where there were key Senate races. MVP gave over $100,000 and raised several hundred thousand more that went directly to UNITE HERE’s efforts, which were essential to victories in those states.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
