Did the RNC scare you?

I watched the RNC this week. A lot of scary things.

JD Vance, for example, is terrifying for a lot of reasons. I’m sure I’ll be writing to you about many of those over the coming months.

But the bottom line is that Vance has said he would do what Pence wouldn’t: overturn the results of a presidential election.

In January 2001, Al Gore was the Vice President and, as such, presided over the electoral vote count in Bush v. Gore. Can you imagine what would have happened if Gore put in fake elector ballots for Florida? I mean, the margin in the state was 537 votes, and he could have argued there were far more hanging chads. That’s almost legitimate compared to the scams Trump forces tried in Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada.

The stakes in this election could not be higher. Midwest Values PAC is donating to Democrats across the country and to ground game in the key battleground states.

P.S. I forgot to remind you what a threat to our democracy Donald Trump is. According to CNN, he lied 21 times last night. Jesus!
