An update on the math

Quick update on our very real, very important $1M end-of-year goal.

As of this morning, we’re at $900,803. Again. We checked. Several times.  

I did the math (so you don’t have to) — that leaves us with 12 days to bring in an additional $99,197. Daunting? A bit? Important for the future of democracy? Very. 

If 800 supporters donate $124 to this email, we reach our goal.

Or if 1,600 supporters give $62. 

Or if 2,400 supporters contribute $41.33 (hey, if you really like math, this could be fun!).

Now, why does this matter?

Last cycle, MVP invested more money from more supporters than ever before. Our giving rate was double that of other Democratic organizations and PACs. That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because MVP is ruthless (in a good way) about spending every dollar smartly — investing in the campaigns, programs, and organizations that actually know how to win.

And this cycle, we want to invest even more.

If you care about winning back the House, the Senate, (and a bunch of other competitive races up and down the ballot) today’s the day to step up.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
