It’s Really Happening!

Early voting starts on Friday in Minnesota. This is getting real. We’re no longer talking about an election that is months and months away — this election begins this week!

Our democracy is at stake and we, the voters, have a chance to do something about it. It’s not enough just to vote. We need you on the phones. We need you on the doors. 

And it’s the perfect time to build on the momentum from last week’s debate where Vice President Harris owned Trump from the opening handshake through his lies about abortion, tariffs, and January 6th. She was incredible! She showed voters nationwide that she is prepared to lead.

Midwest Values PAC is stepping up its giving. We just sent out another $100,000 last week to help Democrats win at all different levels. That was made possible by folks like you. (Or — if you’ve already contributed — actually you! Thanks!)

P.S. There’s just a finite number of these emails I can churn out before I start repeating myself. So, get out and vote, make phone calls, and knock on doors. And for godsakes…

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting. 

Of course, none of this happens without you (or supporters like you) who care enough to pitch in.

As we mark our 20th anniversary, the work is more urgent than ever. This year, we have a big job: flip the House, take the Senate, and win up and down the ballot at the state and local level.

To mark our 20th year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: 26,000 contributions by Election Day 2026.
